     e.g.) おいしそうな食べ物です。 It is look-tasty food.
VS. grammar we learned on Tuesday--- この食べ物はおいしそうです。This food looks tasty.
４）New Grammar: ～てみる attempt to do, try something
５）Practice：Handout
６）New Kanji：着く　同じ　海　昼
the sentence you have to translate with Kanji is
"Because I wear the same Kimono with Umi-chan, I want to try to eat lunch together."
海ちゃんと同じ着物を着るので、いっしょに、昼ご飯（昼食）を食べてみたいです。

２）Reveiw: Finding mistakes
　　帰る　帰って　帰れる　帰れない→Potential verbs are るverbs
     来る（くる）来て（きて）　来れる（これる）・来られる　来れない（これない）・来られない
　　する　　できる　できない
３）Particles for potential verbs を vs. が
　日本語（を / が）話せます。→both are right
   料理（を/が）できます。→ Must be が
***I f you don't understand which verbs use を or が, you use がall the time.

４） New grammar　～そうです。→handout
　　①Meaning "look like"
　　②Conjugation
　　③Negative conjugation→ short form negativeない change into　なさ＋そうです。
　　　食べる→　食べない→　食べなさそうです
　　　おもしろい→おもしろくない→おもしろくなさそうです
　　　すてきな→すてきじゃない→すてきじゃなさそうです
　　④ it looks like it is eatable.
　　　　食べる→食べられる・食べれる（potential)→食べられそうです。食べれそうです。
５）Review：difference between これ and この
　これ is noun, meaning "This is a book" これは本です。
   この is pronoun, meaning that after この, you have to have direct noun.
          This book is cheap. →この本は安いです。
６） New 漢字：空港、体、悪い
　translate the following: "The meal of airport looks bad for your body and not cheap."
   空港のご飯（食べ物）は体に悪くて、安くなさそうです。or
　空港のご飯（食べ物）は体に悪そうで、安くなさそうです。

Expalantion of すぎる
「すぎる」means "Excess"
「 飲みすぎる」　means excess of drinking.
「飲みすぎない」 do not excess drinking.　
「飲みなさすぎる」 means excess of not drinking.

So, you have to change how to make sentences depending on the context.

Dan is going to email the answer keys tomorrow. As soon as I got them, I will upload them on my blog!
